Toddlebot is a play companion for children aged 2 to 4. It runs in the browser in portrait orientation and installs as a PWA.

The home screen is a chat with the Bot. Eight more worlds hold the activities: Animals, Traffic, Art, Style, Pipes, Memory, Garden, and Maze.

[Introducing Toddlebot](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4CCdfjESH5I) shows the Bot and the worlds in under a minute. The [Play Together series](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLLBjL8RmCbwk) has ten one-minute guides. Each guide shows a parent one action to try with a child.

Young children cannot read, so the child experience uses no text. A symbol language called TML has 73 wordless symbols. Each symbol has a sound signature and a spoken label.

PixiJS draws each world on a canvas. A second canvas animates the Bot with Rive, and accessible DOM controls sit above both canvases.

The app has no account, analytics, advertising, or backend. After installation, it needs no network. Progress and the art gallery save to IndexedDB on the device. Export and reset sit behind a parent gate.

Each device starts at a detail tier. If a device is slow, the app moves down from high to medium to low detail and stays there.

The art is 199 editable SVG masters, and the audio is 300 finished cues. Options include reduced motion, tap alternatives, adjustable timing, and narration for a parent who plays along.
