Forge & Co.: Last Reagent is a chemistry game for senior students. It follows Units 1 to 4 of the QCAA Chemistry General Senior Syllabus 2025.

Each stage is one chapter of an anime film. The player watches the film excerpt, then does the chemistry of that chapter against a fixed list of goals. The game has 17 stages: a prologue, 15 chapters, and an epilogue.

The promotional trailer introduces the story. The complete anime runs for 27 minutes, and Theatre mode in the game plays it too. Teachers can start with the overview for teachers.

Every number that the player calculates is real chemistry. A deterministic chemistry kernel calculates each expected answer, and the test suite recomputes every answer with that kernel. A solver bot proves that each stage is solvable at each tier.

Four tiers change the hints, the tolerance, and the number of items. They never change the story. Thirteen Field Guide drills cover the syllabus points that no stage teaches. As a result, the game assesses every science-understanding point in the syllabus.

The game is a PWA built with Preact and TypeScript. The app, code, and core art work offline. The film streams by default, and each chapter is available for download. Without the chapter on the device or a network, the graphic-novel pages play as a motion comic.
