Players race to solve each scrambled word first. The game handles multiplayer without an always-on game server. API Gateway accepts each action, Lambda processes it, and DynamoDB stores the shared match. A shared record gives both players the same match state. This structure avoids hourly server costs between matches. Speed affects the result, so DynamoDB stays on the request path. The browser client uses no framework. --- title: Spawn Runner layout: project description: Spawn Runner is a multiplayer egg-collecting race on Roblox with server-validated wins. canonical: https://bowdencloud.com/spawn-runner image: https://bowdencloud.com/assets/media/share-default.webp image_alt: bowdenCloud - the digital workshop of Steve Bowden last_modified: "2026-08-15" tag: Multiplayer Racer accent: red pitch: Race for eggs on Roblox, with every win validated by the server. features: - Multiplayer egg-collecting races - Server-validated win conditions - Shared race state - Lua systems built for Roblox order: 3 status: live link: https://www.roblox.com/games/15073976476/Spawn-Runner link_label: Play on Roblox --- Spawn Runner is a multiplayer race on Roblox. Players collect the eggs and reach the exit before their opponents. The server validates every win. A modified client cannot award itself a victory or change the arrival order. This rule protects the race result and leaderboard. The game uses Roblox physics and replication, with gameplay systems written in Lua. You need a Roblox account to play. --- title: Furball Mania layout: project description: Furball Mania is a side-scrolling browser game with a custom canvas engine, touch controls, and saved progress. canonical: https://bowdencloud.com/furball-mania image: https://bowdencloud.com/assets/media/share-default.webp image_alt: bowdenCloud - the digital workshop of Steve Bowden last_modified: "2026-08-15" tag: Interactive Engine accent: purple pitch: A side-scrolling browser game powered by a compact, custom canvas engine. features: - Custom canvas rendering and 2D physics - Wave-based enemies, weapons, and pickups - Saved progress across sessions - PWA installation - Touch and keyboard controls order: 4 status: live link: https://furballmania.com link_label: Play Furball Mania --- Furball Mania is a side-scrolling action game for phones and desktop browsers. The game saves progress, so players can return later. The game uses a custom engine built on the HTML canvas element. This engine controls rendering, 2D physics, enemy waves, weapons, and pickups. It uses no third-party game framework. This keeps the download small and gives the game direct control of each frame. Furball Mania installs as a PWA. It supports touch controls and a keyboard. --- title: MoodBuying layout: project description: MoodBuying is a shopping discovery site with themes and product feeds for 51 moods. canonical: https://bowdencloud.com/moodbuying image: https://bowdencloud.com/assets/media/share-default.webp image_alt: bowdenCloud - the digital workshop of Steve Bowden last_modified: "2026-08-15" tag: Shopping Discovery Platform accent: grey pitch: Shopping ideas, themes, and product rankings for 51 different moods. features: - 51 mood-based themes - One pre-ranked product feed for each mood - CSS variables for color, type, and layout - Static hosting on S3 and CloudFront - No request-time server processing order: 5 status: live link: https://moodbuying.com link_label: Visit MoodBuying --- MoodBuying helps visitors explore products that fit one of 51 moods. Each mood changes the colors, type, layout, and product order. The site prepares every theme and product list before publication. A mood change loads static files instead of requesting live recommendations. S3 stores the site, and CloudFront serves it near the visitor. No application code runs when a visitor requests a page. This approach gives fast page changes and low hosting cost. Product rankings update during a new build, so they do not track live stock. --- title: ux-review layout: project description: ux-review is a local-first CLI that supports each UX finding with browser evidence. canonical: https://bowdencloud.com/ux-review image: https://bowdencloud.com/assets/media/share-default.webp image_alt: bowdenCloud - the digital workshop of Steve Bowden last_modified: "2026-08-15" tag: UX Analysis CLI accent: teal pitch: A local-first UX review CLI with browser evidence for every finding. features: - Local operation with no telemetry - Browser evidence for each finding - Screenshots, DOM state, and network logs - Evidence review before reporting - JSON envelope and MCP integration order: 6 status: live link: https://www.npmjs.com/package/ux-review link_label: View ux-review on npm --- ux-review examines a web app and records evidence for each UX finding. It separates visible problems from plausible model guesses. The CLI uses a headless browser to capture screenshots, DOM state, or network logs. It compares each finding with that evidence. If the evidence does not support a finding, ux-review omits it from the report. The CLI runs locally and sends no telemetry. Agents can use its JSON envelope and MCP integration in larger workflows. --- title: Strategic Planner layout: project description: Strategic Planner is a local-first browser app that arranges outcomes, milestones, risks, and next actions on a 3D board. canonical: https://bowdencloud.com/strategic-planner image: https://bowdencloud.com/assets/media/share-default.webp image_alt: bowdenCloud - the digital workshop of Steve Bowden last_modified: "2026-09-07" tag: Local-First Planning Board accent: blue pitch: Plan backwards from an outcome on a 3D board that works offline. features: - Cards for outcomes, milestones, evidence, risks, and decisions - Supports, depends on, and conflicts with relationships - Map View and a minimap for large plans - Automatic local storage with no account and no sync - Board export, complete backup, and restore order: 7 status: live link: https://planner.bowdencloud.com link_label: Open Strategic Planner --- Strategic Planner arranges a strategy on a 3D board. Cards hold outcomes, milestones, evidence, risks, decisions, and next actions. The board supports a working-backwards method. You name the outcome first, with the evidence that proves success. Then you add the milestone directly before it, and the preconditions behind that. Three relationships connect the cards: supports, depends on, and conflicts with. These links make a gap or a contradiction easier to see. Map View and a minimap navigate a large plan. The app runs in the browser and saves to IndexedDB on your own machine. It contacts no server. Its Content Security Policy sets `connect-src 'none'`, so the browser enforces that rule. After the first load, the app works offline. An installed app gets its own window or home screen icon. There is no account, no sync, and no telemetry. The app exports one board or a complete backup. That file is the portable copy, and the browser cannot remove it. Seven templates give editable starting points. The interface answers pointer, touch, pen, and keyboard control. It fits a 390 by 844 pixel phone and a desktop display. An automated browser suite covers both Chromium and iOS WebKit. --- title: Managing Up layout: project description: Managing Up is an offline browser game where you assemble a message from four phrases and watch a company react. canonical: https://bowdencloud.com/managing-up image: https://bowdencloud.com/assets/media/share-default.webp image_alt: bowdenCloud - the digital workshop of Steve Bowden last_modified: "2026-09-07" tag: Corporate Satire Game accent: purple pitch: Choose four phrases, an identity, and a reader, then watch the room react. features: - Six mission packs, starting with a tutorial - Phrase assembly in place of free text - Every mission proved winnable by a solver - No language model at play time - Offline play after installation order: 8 status: live link: https://manage.bowdencloud.com link_label: Play Managing Up --- Managing Up is a corporate satire game for the browser. You do not write the words. You choose four phrases from a reel, an identity to send them under, and a recipient. Then you send the message and watch the room react. The words are the easy part. The game is about who reads over whose shoulder. The campaign holds six mission packs. A tutorial comes first, then five missions at five fictional companies. Each mission introduces one mechanic, and it introduces that mechanic in the story rather than in a menu. A solver proves every mission is winnable at every difficulty. A mission that fails that test stops the build. The game runs in the browser and installs to a home screen. After installation it plays offline. It requests nothing except its own files and its own missions. No language model runs during play. The build scans the output for provider identifiers and for worked solutions. It stops when it finds either. Missions are data, not code. A new mission is one directory of JSON, and it names no code and no network resource. An automated suite plays the game on a phone, a desktop, and iOS Safari. One test wins the first mission with only the Tab key, the arrow keys, and Enter. A playtest harness measures how long each mission takes. The difficulty screen shows that measured estimate.
